Bhavi is a registered dietitian, with Masters in Nutrition and Biochemistry. She is also a graduate of Indian classical dance, bharatnatyam. She has been an enthusiastic life-long student of yoga starting from a very young age.

She got her formal 200 hr. training at Sivananda ashram, a premiere yoga institute in India. She is trained in Hatha yoga, pranayama, Ayurveda and Reiki.

Besotted by the art, science and philosophy of Iyengar yoga, she pursued Iyengar certification and got certified in 2016. She has been teaching the art of Yoga for over 11 years.

She believes that balanced yoga practice leads to profound health, vitality, mental clarity, and emotional stability in addition to commonly known benefits of strength, balance, flexibility, and ability to relax.

She aims to challenge students with a sense of fun to her classes while delving deeper into the physical, psychological, and spiritual dimensions of yoga, helping students find awareness and growth in their practice.

She is a dedicated mother of two charming kids. Creating healthy nutritious dishes, globe trotting, studying vedas and Upanishads are a few of her hobbies. She continues her yoga education by taking workshops from national and international senior Iyengar yoga teachers.
